how it works

• A ping is an emoji, a few words, a place and a start time. It expires two hours after it starts.
• Under every ping you see your own verdict: how far you are and whether you'd make it, worked out on your phone from your location.
• I'm in joins. Leaving is the same tap and tells nobody.
• Friends come from an invite link (wimziapp.com/i/…) or a handle. Only friends see your pings.
• on my way is optional, per ping, and shares your position only with the people going, until you arrive.

common questions

The verdict says it couldn't check my route. wimzi needs location while using the app. Settings › wimzi › Location › While Using.

I tapped an invite link and nothing happened. Open wimzi and sign in; the link is remembered and accepted the moment you're in. Or paste the code under have a code? on the friends tab.

Someone is bothering me. Long-press their message to report it or block them, or long-press their name on the friends tab. Blocking is silent.

How do I delete my account? you tab › delete account. Everything you own is removed; see the privacy page.
