post a ping
An emoji, a few words, a place, and when. Bowling at eight. Coffee walk, now. Pick a look if you feel like it.

wimzi is for the plans that happen in the next two hours. Post a ping; every friend sees whether they can get there in time, and taps I'm in. No group chat to wrangle, no plans to plan.
18 min away · you'd make it
friends only
how it works
Three taps to post. Nothing to fill in, nobody to invite one by one. Your friends' phones do the rest.
An emoji, a few words, a place, and when. Bowling at eight. Coffee walk, now. Pick a look if you feel like it.

Each friend gets a verdict worked out on their own phone, from where they're standing: "18 min away, you'd get there 22 min early". One tap to say I'm in.

A map with your route, the people going, and their pins if they've switched on on my way. It stops when they arrive.

under every ping
The chat is scoped to the ping. It starts when the ping does and it's gone a week later. No thread that lives forever, no scrolling back to find the plan.
the rules
Most of what wimzi is, is what it refuses to be.
You add people with a link or a handle, and only they see your pings. Make groups for the people you always ping together.
Your position goes nowhere unless you turn on on my way for one ping. Then it goes to that ping's people, and is deleted when the ping ends. No ads, no tracking, no selling anything.
The point is who's around right now, and whether you can be there in time. There's no calendar, no history, no maybe.
